Sam Stone

Sam Stone is a Principal Embedded Security Engineer at MITRE, specializing in leading advanced research and development in embedded systems security. They have extensive experience in the United States Air Force, where they served as a MASINT Ops Technician and held various leadership roles focused on incident response, network security, and project management. Sam earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Wright State University, followed by a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology. They have also served as an Assistant Professor at the United States Air Force Academy, developing curriculum and teaching courses in digital engineering and cyber communications.
