Thomas Flaherty has extensive experience in cyber threat intelligence and intelligence operations, currently serving as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst at MITRE since April 2020. Previously, Thomas held similar positions at Citizens Bank from December 2014 to April 2020 and served as an Intelligence Officer in the US Navy Reserve from December 1996 to April 2018, including a notable role as a Watch Officer during active duty in Afghanistan with Resolute Support in 2017. Prior to military service, Thomas worked as a Counterintelligence Analyst at InteliTrac, Inc. and as a Counterterrorism Database Analyst at Lockheed Martin. Early career experience includes intelligence analysis at Booz Allen Hamilton in support of the Naval Warfare Development Command. Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from Springfield College.
