Tracy Sanders is an accomplished Chief Engineer and Human Centered Engineering Lead at MITRE, overseeing diverse teams to conduct impactful qualitative and quantitative research in areas such as AI, transportation, and education since January 2017. Alongside this role, Tracy serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the Maryland Institute College of Art, where innovative course materials have been developed and highly rated by students in Data Visualization and User Experience Design. Previous experience includes leading human factors research teams at the Institute for Simulation and Training and working as an Interaction Designer and Usability Consultant. Tracy holds a Ph.D. in Applied Experimental and Human Factors Psychology, a Master's degree in Modeling and Simulation, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Studio Art, complemented by an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design and Studio Art from the Art Institute of Colorado.
