Wayne Bailey

Wayne Bailey serves as the Chief sUAS Pilot at Blue Ridge Mountain Drones, LLC since February 2019 and is an Advisory Board Member for the International Public Safety Association as well as an Advisory Committee Member at MITRE. With a role as a Drone Pathway Specialist for the Law & Public Safety Education Network, Wayne Bailey contributes to public safety initiatives through active involvement in multiple organizations including NFPA and the North Carolina Association of Rescue & EMS. Additional experience includes finance leadership in Haywood County, NC, and active volunteer service with Skyland Fire & Rescue. Wayne Bailey holds an Executive Fire Officer degree from the National Fire Academy and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Fire Protection from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, alongside recent training in SUAS from the Pulit Institute. Additionally, Wayne Bailey is a real estate investor, managing properties since 2002 and organizing community engagements for Biltmore Estate Passholders.
