Kenyo Tanaka has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Kenyo started their career as an Analyst in GE's Financial Management Program from August 2001 to July 2003. Kenyo then became a Senior Analyst in GE's Business Development / M&A Department from August 2003 to January 2006.

In 2006, Kenyo joined Nomura as an Associate in the Investment Banking division, where they worked from February 2006 to April 2010. Kenyo was later promoted to Vice President and continued to work for Nomura from May 2010 to September 2015.

Kenyo'smost recent work experience is with Mitsui & Co., Ltd., where they held multiple roles. Kenyo started as an Investment Manager in the Corporate Development / M&A Advisory Department from November 2015 to March 2018. Kenyo then became the Deputy General Manager in the Business Development Department, Private Equity Division from April 2018 to April 2021. Currently, they are a Senior Vice President of Business Development for JA Mitsui Leasing Capital Corporation, where they have been since May 2021.

Kenyo Tanaka completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Management at Albion College from 1997 to 2001. In 2022, they enrolled in the General Management Program (GMP 33) at Harvard Business School. Kenyo is currently pursuing a Master of Global Business Administration degree at The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
