we bring over 13 years of as a multidisciplinary design and wellbeing experience. With experience in ceramics, healing and art. Certified DBS and trauma aware we’ve seen firsthand how working with clay creates connection, calm, and confidence in people’s lives.

At Mittika, we design clay workshops as wellbeing experiences — not traditional pottery classes. Our sessions are gentle, inclusive, and trauma-aware, supporting people to slow down, create with their hands, and feel present in a way that’s accessible to all abilities.

What we deliver
• Hand-building sessions — pinch pots, memory boxes, and intuitive making
• Pottery wheel experiences — guided, hands-on introductions to throwing
• Paint & glaze — finished pieces are decorated, fired, and kept as personal keepsakes

Why organisations choose Mittika
• Trauma-aware facilitation, not paint by numbers activities
• Experience working with diverse needs, including dementia, mobility challenges, and anxiety
• Trusted expertise — including PGCE (Design & Technology) and Enhanced DBS
• Fully bespoke delivery: one-off sessions, regular programmes, or family–resident workshops

We deliver clay wellbeing workshops across the UK for care homes, schools, corporates, and community groups, adapting every session to the people in the room.
