Patrick Stearns

Patrick Stearns has a strong background in web development and software engineering. Patrick started their career in 2014 as a Lead Web Developer/DevOps Engineer for French Valley Barbell Club, where they designed and developed a website and implemented features such as a blog and user authentication/profile system. In 2014, they joined ProBoards, Inc. as a Web Developer, where they implemented new features and improved codebase maintainability.

In 2015, Patrick joined Miva, Inc. as a Lead Web Developer, specializing in data migrations from ecommerce platforms and API integration projects for enterprise clients. Patrick led a team of four developers and managed end-to-end web development for the company.

In 2022, Patrick returned to Miva, Inc. as a Lead Web Developer. Patrick'sresponsibilities include leading web development projects, creating CI/CD pipelines, and establishing coding standards.

Prior to this, in 2022, they worked at Rural Sourcing as a Senior Software Engineer Consultant. In this role, they served as a technical lead and software architect for a green field Laravel framework project. Patrick also created CI/CD pipelines and led efforts in Jira backlog definition and grooming for client projects.

Patrick Stearns earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from Palomar College between 2013 and 2015. In addition, they obtained certifications as a Network Professional from TestOut Corporation and in A+ from CompTIA in August 2013.
