Francois Smit

Francois Smit has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as the General Manager of Investigations at MiWay Insurance Limited since February 2008, with previous roles as Claims Manager, Claims Team Manager, and Claims Investigator within the same company. Prior to joining MiWay, Francois worked as a Claims Investigator at OUTsurance from September 2005 to January 2008. Educational qualifications include an FMP in Business Administration and Management from the Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership obtained in 2017, a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of South Africa, and an FMP in Business Management from the Unisa Graduate School of Business. Francois completed high school at Verwoerdburg High School from 1989 to 1993.
