Brian Nelson

Brian Nelson has worked in a variety of roles in the past decade. In 2009, they began as an Associate Scientist Intern at National Security Technologies, LLC (NSTec). In 2010, they moved to Medtronic Brain Therapies - Neurosurgery as a Customer Loyalty Specialist. In 2013, they transitioned to Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. as a Reliability/Failure Analysis Engineer. In 2015, they moved to Maxar Technologies as a Senior Quality Engineer. Most recently, in 2018, they joined Mixbook as the Supplier Quality and Chain Manager. At Mixbook, Brian works to provide customers with unrivaled creative freedom and design choices to help bring their favorite moments to life.

Brian Nelson has an extensive educational history. Brian obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from UC Santa Barbara between 2005 and 2010. Brian then went on to receive their Master of Science (MS) in Materials Engineering from San Jose State University between 2012 and 2014. Brian also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt from San Jose State University, obtained in May 2014. In addition, they have a number of certifications from DataCamp, including Analyzing Social Media Data in R and Data-Driven Decision Making in SQL, obtained in March 2020, and Intermediate SQL, obtained in January 2020. Brian also has certifications from The Walt Disney Company, including Disney’s Approach to Leadership Excellence, obtained in February 2021.
