Bart Plantenga

Bart Plantenga is a seasoned freelance editor, writer, proofreader, journalist, translator, and author with extensive experience dating back to 1980. Over the years, Bart has contributed to various print and online journals, including The Guardian and American Lawyer, focusing on topics such as the refugee situation in the Netherlands. Bart has collaborated with numerous NGOs and arts organizations since 1995, notably with the Clean Clothes Campaign and SOMO. As a radio DJ since 1986, Bart showcases an eclectic mix of sounds and themes, emphasizing the intersection of aesthetics and politics. Bart holds an Independent Honors Degree in Film & Writing from the University of Michigan and continues to serve as a co-producer at De Player since 2007.
