Lauren Petit

Lauren Petit has over 10 years of work experience in the sales and travel industries. Lauren began their career in 2008 as a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist for AstraZeneca in the Washington D.C. metro area. In 2010, they became an Adventure Travel Specialist for Intrepid Travel, where they were in charge of planning and executing trips ranging from one to three weeks, dealing with group dynamics, and taking passengers on tours all across the United States. Lauren also received an award for best accounting skills within the company. In 2011, they joined ZOZI as an Account Executive. In 2012, they became the Director of Business Development for Iconic Adventures, where they developed pricing and business strategy for a young start-up company. In 2013, they joined Solid Ground Shelters as Sales Director and grew the company from an initial private investment of $75k to grossing $1. In 2020, they joined Mixlab as Sales Director, Inside Sales Manager, and Territory Manager. In their roles at Mixlab, they built a new sales team, created sales initiatives and processes, managed territory plans and state assignments, and grew sales 200% YoY. Lauren also launched newer territories in MD, VA, and DC, and acquired over 60 new practices within the first year, exceeding territory expectations.

Lauren Petit earned their Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Maryland in 2008. During their time at the University of Maryland, they also took part in a study abroad program at the University of Wollongong in 2007.
