David Dryden has a strong background in the gaming industry, with a particular focus on game design and production. David is currently working as the Lead Game Designer at MixMob since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Electronic Arts (EA) as a Senior Game Designer from December 2017 to June 2022, where they led a team of designers in supporting content on a live product. Before that, they served as a Project Manager at VMC from April 2016 to December 2017, providing on-site leadership and management for the largest quality assurance team in the area. David also worked at Whitebox Games as a Producer and Quality Assurance Lead from June 2015 to January 2016 and December 2014 to May 2015, respectively, overseeing production, leading scrums, managing releases, and ensuring the implementation of features. Earlier in their career, they held roles at Hothead Games and VMC as a Quality Assurance Associate and Quality Assurance Games Tester, respectively. David's work experience also includes their time as a Game & Level Designer at the Vancouver Film School, where they worked on projects such as "They Come in Pieces" and "The Last Phoenix" as a student. In the latter project, they served as a Level Designer and Project Manager, managing a team of five designers and utilizing Agile development.
David Dryden attended the University of Saskatchewan from 2009 to 2011, where they studied Interactive Systems Design. David then pursued a Diploma with Honours in Game Design at the Vancouver Film School from 2011 to 2012.
