Gerard Cohen

CEO at Mixware

Gerard Cohen is the current CEO at Mixware. Gerard has also previously served as the owner, chairman, and CEO of Stanton Group from January 1997 to May 2003. During their time with Stanton, they built the company up from a top seller cartridge company to the #1 DJ brand worldwide. Gerard also launched the first ever DJ Software, Final Scratch. However, they were taken over by management and investors who they felt were clueless, and they eventually left the company.

From May 2006 to September 2010, Gerard owned Rene Caovilla USA, a high-end women's shoe company. In January 2001, they became the CEO of Coemar spa and served in that role until December 2003. Gerard turned around the company and gave it a new direction and product strategy. However, investors took over and screw up everything to the point that they had to pay someone and give away the company in 2011. Gerard is not sure where the company is headed now, but they wish them the best.

Prior to their work with Stanton Group and Coemar spa, Gerard was a distributor for Vestax Corporation from January 1997 to December 2000. Gerard also served as the CEO of Martin USA from January 1985 to December 1997.

Gerard Cohen attended IFOCOP for their educational career in business with a focus on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial studies.
