Salaam,

We're Mizan. Africa’s first Islamic neobank.

We embarked on a journey to fix the broken Islamic banking for good. Our aim? Transparency, modern technology, and fair values. All without the need for physical human interaction, with a goal to be the first Islamic Super-App.

Different from traditional design, we are not building a bank but more. A mobile-first, customer-obsessed, innovative financial technology company that is stitched on an ethical Islamic framework.

We are disrupting your relationship with the word “bank”. The B word is relatable to stress, poor customer service, complex Islamic financial products (mushraka, murabaha, tawarruq etc), and long queues. We want to change that.

We started off by committing to no hidden fees, interest, or late penalty fees. Our obsession is people. We are tackling the complex problem most people have; Money. We do not want to throw solutions around, in the hope they find a problem to solve. That's why we kicked off with Beta. Meaning, fixing problems without you telling us to do so.

With Mizan Pay-later; our first product ship, will commit to no hidden fees, interest, or tricks. That’s our commitment, a movement where people speak your language, understand your hopes, and help you reach your financial goals.

Our team is small which makes us agile. We're misfits that got together to find elegant solutions to complex problems. But above all, just like you, we are empathetic believers of simplicity, honesty, and no tricks.

It’s a disruptive journey, but our promise is to stay woke, proactively engaging with our customers and finding innovative ways for financial inclusion.

It’s time, time to dip our toes in the water.
