Assem Ramadan

Assem Ramadan has extensive work experience in engineering and project management. Assem started their career as a Senior Inspector at Chas. H. Sells, Inc. in 1989 and then worked as a Structural Engineer at Ammann & Whitney from 1990 to 1991. During their time at Ammann & Whitney, they worked on bridge inspection projects and performed computer-aided structural design. In 1991, Assem joined MTA Bridges and Tunnels as a Senior Project Engineer and remained with the company until 2022. At MTA, they managed and implemented multimillion dollar engineering projects, developed strong communication skills, and successfully completed a deck replacement project for the Verrazano Narrows Bridge Upper Level Suspended Spans. Starting from 2022, Assem is currently working as a Senior Project Engineer at M&J Engineering, P.C.

Assem Ramadan attended Alexandria University from 1978 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Assem then pursued graduate studies in Bridge Design at Columbia University from 1991 to 1992. Finally, they completed their education at New York University from 2004 to 2008, earning a Master's degree in Construction Management.
