Marcelo Lerendegui

Marcelo Lerendegui, PhD, is a biomedical and electronics engineer with over a decade of experience in the medical device industry. They have successfully developed eight regulatory-compliant devices across multiple sectors and regions. Currently, as a Staff Engineer at MK1, Marcelo focuses on building reliable AI systems, while also co-founding RReact and Kovac Biomedics. They hold a PhD from Imperial College London, alongside degrees from Duke University and the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology. Marcelo is also passionate about teaching and has over ten years of university-level teaching experience.
