Gerardo Brucker is a seasoned expert in the field of pressure measurement and mass spectrometry, currently serving as the Business Unit Chief Technology Officer for the Indirect Pressure Measurement and Mass Spectrometry Groups at MKS Instruments since July 2014. With prior experience as Chief Scientist and Product Design Manager at Brooks Automation and Stanford Research Systems, Brucker has a robust background in the development and productization of innovative scientific instruments, including Autoresonant Ion Trap Mass Spectrometry and various gauges for pressure measurement. Brucker holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Colorado State University and completed post-doctoral studies in Physical Chemistry at the University of Southern California, complemented by a B.S. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires.
