Matt Datlen

Matt Datlen is currently working as an Engineering Manager at MKS Instruments, leading a small team in the Direct Pressure Sensing group. Prior to their current role, Matt was a Mechanical Engineer - Lead at Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd., where Matt contributed to the development of Capacitance Diaphragm Gauge (CDG). Before that, Matt worked as a Test/Systems Engineer at Safran and as a Development Test Engineer at Pratt and Whitney AeroPower. Matt also has experience as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern and has worked as a Laborer at Contra Costa Central Sanitation. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego.
