Peter Paul

Peter Paul is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software and control systems, currently serving as the Director of Engineering for the Software Group at MKS Instruments since October 2017. Overseeing a team of over 40 professionals, Peter has driven significant growth within the MKS Power Solutions Business Unit. Previous roles include Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager at MKS, where responsibilities encompassed leading software and firmware development for advanced semiconductor manufacturing technologies. Peter also held positions such as Principal Scientist and Research and Development Manager at Conduent and PARC, focusing on innovative AI-driven solutions in transportation. Additionally, Peter has experience at Xerox, managing research and development in customer analytics and computer vision, and began a career as a scientist at Raytheon, specializing in airborne radar systems. Peter earned a BS, MS, and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
