Wei Wei is an accomplished Optical Engineer currently serving as a Principal Optical Systems Engineer at MKS Instruments. Wei holds a Ph.D. in Laser and Optical Engineering from Shandong University, where they also completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Their prior experience includes a role as a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), focusing on laser cavity-ringdown diagnostic systems, and a postdoctoral researcher position at Stanford University, where they developed optical diagnostic systems. Alongside expertise in various engineering software, Wei has contributed to research at Los Alamos National Laboratory and SpaceX.
