Chris Nicol has extensive experience in electrical and firmware engineering, currently serving as an Electrical Engineer at SMART Technologies since July 2010, where Chris develops hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and related educational devices. Prior roles include Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies, Electronics Contractor for Science Alberta Foundation focusing on educational device design, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, where Chris assisted with laboratory instruction and exam oversight. Earlier experience as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom involved developing control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
