Leo Mindyuk

Leo Mindyuk is the Co-Founder and CEO of ML Tech. Prior to this, they were a Quantitative Trader and Head of Trading at Blue Fire Capital, LLC from July 2017 to February 2020. In this role, they managed a portfolio of automated signal-based strategies and led daily trading operations globally 24/7. Leo also developed inventory-based proprietary logic to price 30+ different crypto instruments on various global exchanges.

From July 2015 to July 2017, Leo was an Equity Derivatives Trader at Consolidated Trading. Prior to this, they were a Research Assistant (part-time equivalent to Analyst) with a focus on the financial industry at McKinsey & Company from June 2013 to June 2014. Their responsibilities included researching, designing and backtesting mid- to high-frequency trading signals for multiple asset classes (Commodities, Crypto, Equities, Fixed Income) on US and European exchanges. Leo also analyzed the performance of existing and new trading strategies, optimized portfolio allocations based on proprietary models, and mentored and supervised the work of quantitative traders and developers in Amsterdam and Chicago offices.

Leo started their career as an Intern at RSM International from August 2012 to October 2012.

Leo Mindyuk has a master's in finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a degree in economics from the Higher School of Economics. Leo also took courses at Harvard University and the London School of Economics and Political Science. Leo is certified by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in securities trading.
