Aaron Levi

Aaron Levi, PhD, is an accomplished data science professional currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Major League Baseball since October 2022. Previously, Aaron held the position of Data Scientist at Known from December 2020 to July 2022, where responsibilities included building ingestion pipelines for large-scale television viewing datasets and developing predictive models for TV viewership. Aaron also was a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science in late 2020, creating a web application to facilitate guitar learning through personalized song recommendations. The academic background includes a PhD in Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Austin, where research focused on visual motion processing and sensory decision-making, and a Bachelor of Science in Brain & Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester.
