Ashley Scherer

Ashley Scherer is an experienced professional in the events management industry, currently serving as the Senior Director of Global Events at Major League Baseball since September 2013, where previous roles included Director and Senior Manager of Special Events. Prior experience includes positions as Convention Services Manager and Sales Coordinator at Grand Hyatt New York from February 2008 to August 2013, as well as an Account Executive at Gita Group in 2007 and an Assistant to the Food & Beverage Manager at The Palace at Somerset Park in 2006. Ashley Scherer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, with a focus on Public Relations and Organizational Communications, from Marist College between 2004 and 2007.
