Chad DeLoatch is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Major League Baseball since January 2018, Chad oversees the direct-to-consumer MLB.tv video streaming experience across various devices. Previously, Chad held the position of Director of Engineering and Architecture at NBCUniversal Media, LLC, where responsibilities included end-to-end architecture for digital products and corporate applications. Additionally, Chad spent over 18 years at Turner Broadcasting System as a Principal Architect focused on shared software platforms and services. Early experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at Virtus and an Analyst Programmer at Wachovia. Chad holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Fayetteville State University.
