Dave Sessions

Dave Sessions is an experienced professional with a diverse background in sports journalism and marketing. Currently serving as a Baseball Writer for MLB Advanced Media, L.P. since June 2011, Dave covers various games and teams, particularly focusing on visiting teams in Arlington. In addition to writing, Dave holds dual roles as Executive Vice President and Marketing Director at Ferris Mfg. Corp., where a significant marketing strategy for a medical devices company with multimillion-dollar sales has been led since February 2012. Previous roles include serving as Policy Advisor for the Rick Perry presidential campaign, Press Secretary for Congresswoman Kay Granger, and communications positions during the John McCain 2008 campaign. Earlier career experience encompasses reporting for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, where Dave was a Texas Rangers Beat Writer and Dallas Stars Beat Writer, as well as editorial roles at the Austin American-Statesman and The Daily Texan. Dave holds a Bachelor of Journalism in News & Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Austin.
