Deck R. is an accomplished design executive with extensive experience in the digital and interactive media fields. Currently serving as Vice President of Design at Major League Baseball since March 2001, Deck R. has been instrumental in building a creative department and overseeing the development of numerous websites for MLB Advanced Media. Previously, Deck R. held the position of Visiting Professor of Interactive Design at Pratt Institute, where instruction focused on digital design and portfolio development. Prior to these roles, Deck R. was Creative Director at News Digital Media, managing creative services for various media properties, and worked as a freelance Art Director and Creative Director, delivering acclaimed advertising campaigns for numerous Fortune 500 clients. Deck R. holds a BA in Liberal Arts with a focus on Political Science and Photography from Rhodes College, as well as an MA in Design and Visual Communications from The University of Memphis.
