Jaime Ayala

Authenticator

Jaime Ayala is an accomplished law enforcement and security professional with extensive experience in various capacities. Currently serving as the Chief of Police at the Edinburg Police Department since October 2021, Jaime has also held roles as an Authenticator for Major League Baseball since November 1998 and as a Resident Security Agent, providing security consulting on stadium security and logistics. Previous experience includes serving as a Soccer Security Agent for Major League Soccer and Soccer United Marketing from January 2006 to October 2021, as well as an Assistant Police Chief at the Arlington, TX Police Department from March 1989 to September 2021. Additionally, Jaime has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Texas Christian University from January 2014 to June 2019. Jaime holds a Master of Science in Communication Studies from Texas Christian University and a degree in Speech Communications with a focus on Organizational Communication from The University of Texas at Arlington.
