Jim Malone is a seasoned professional in the field of Strength & Conditioning and High Performance Coaching, currently serving as a Consultant to Major League Baseball since May 2021, where responsibilities include assisting leadership in player performance evaluation and overseeing MLB Draft Combine events. With extensive experience across various levels of athletics, Malone has held key positions such as Senior Associate Director of Athletic Performance for the University of Georgia Athletic Association and Director of Strength & Conditioning for the Appalachian League. A former Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Athletic Development Coordinator for the St. Louis Cardinals, Malone has demonstrated leadership in the development and implementation of training programs while actively participating in athlete testing initiatives. An alumnus of the University of Rochester, Malone also pursued a Master's degree in Applied Physiology at Teachers College, Columbia University.
