Mara Panzar

Mara Panzar currently serves as the Vice President of Global Design at Major League Baseball since February 2023. Prior to this role, Mara held the position of Head of Design at The Washington Post from April 2021 to February 2023. Mara's extensive background in design includes serving as Creative Director and Art Director at 1000heads from March 2015 to April 2021, and contributing to McCann Worldgroup as Truth Central Creative from February 2014 to March 2015, where responsibilities included art direction for global research studies and branding initiatives. Earlier experience includes working as a Designer for New Business at McCann New York, a Graphic Designer at Blue Outdoor, and internships at WAT-AAH! and as a Graphic/Web Designer at Nuwaka Fashion World. Mara earned a Master of Science in Design and Visual Communications from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts with a focus on Graphic Design and Biochemistry from Binghamton University.
