Mike Lacassa

Vice President, Player Development

Mike LaCassa currently serves as Vice President of Player Development at Major League Baseball, a position held since December 2020. Prior to this role, Mike LaCassa was the Director of Minor League Operations for the Los Angeles Angels from December 2011 to December 2020, and served as Assistant in Player Development at the Texas Rangers Baseball Club from January 2010 to December 2011. Mike LaCassa began his career in baseball as an intern in Advance Scouting with the Milwaukee Brewers from February 2009 to October 2009. Educationally, Mike LaCassa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences with a focus on Business and Spanish from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
