Tim Whitney is an accomplished broadcast technology professional with extensive experience in various roles at Major League Baseball since May 2016, culminating in the position of Senior Director, Broadcast Technology. Prior to MLB, Tim served as a Broadcast Engineer at City University of New York, where responsibilities included planning, installation, and maintenance of broadcast systems, as well as coordinating upgrades from SD to HD. Tim's freelance work includes color grading for independent films and web series, along with commercial photography for notable clients such as OXO and Oprah Winfrey Network. Additionally, Tim has shared expertise as a Technical Instructor at CUNY Graduate School of Journalism and worked as an Audio Engineer at CUNY TV, contributing to both professional and student productions. Educationally, Tim holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Production and Engineering from Berklee College of Music.
