Tyrone Brooks

Tyrone Brooks is an accomplished professional in the baseball industry, currently serving as the Senior Director of the Front Office and Field Staff Diversity Pipeline Program at Major League Baseball since February 2016. This initiative aims to enhance diversity and inclusion within baseball operations by attracting and developing talent from underrepresented communities. Additionally, Tyrone is the founder of the Baseball Industry Network, which has grown to over 47,000 members since its inception in 2009, connecting individuals across various roles in the baseball sector. Previously, Tyrone held key positions with the Pittsburgh Pirates as Director of Player Personnel and Director of Baseball Operations, as well as professional scouting roles with the Cleveland Guardians and Atlanta Braves, where a significant focus was placed on scouting and operations. Tyrone's educational background includes a double major in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Maryland.
