Stephen Shao

Stephen SHAO is a Senior Member Of Technical Staff at AMD, with experience in developing intelligent automation based on deep learning systems. Stephen is a Contributor at MLCommons focusing on machine learning benchmarks and best practices for creating ML software. Previously, Stephen worked at Deep Learning based Fintech Consulting implementing end-to-end machine learning projects and at Statoil as a Director and Principal Scientist. With a PhD in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor's in Electro-mechanical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, Stephen has a strong background in both technical and managerial roles.
