Vishal Doshi is a seasoned professional in the fields of machine learning and artificial intelligence, currently serving as a ML Engineering and AI Safety expert at MLCommons since May 2025. Prior experience includes serving as the Head of Analytics & AI at Gigasheet and holding multiple senior roles at Nike, including Senior Director of Commercial AI/ML Engineering. Vishal has also contributed to Celect, Inc. as Director of Engineering and Principal Data Scientist at Recorded Future. Early career roles include positions at the US Department of Defense, the Federal Communications Commission, The White House, and Obama for America. Vishal holds two Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
