Chris Shewfelt has extensive experience in the sports management industry, primarily at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership since September 2001. Currently serving as the MLSE Lead for FIFA World Cup 26 Toronto, Chris provides strategic leadership for sponsorship sales, stadium renovations, and marketing initiatives. Previously, as Vice President of Business Operations for Toronto FC and Toronto Argonauts, Chris focused on vision setting, P&L accountability, strategic planning, and partnership development. Chris's career also includes roles such as Head of Business Operations for Toronto FC and Sr. Director of Global Partnerships, contributing to revenue growth and establishing key relationships. In addition, Chris has served as a course instructor at Brock University and Ryerson University, teaching topics related to sports management and marketing. Chris holds a degree in Sport Management from Brock University.
