John H. currently serves as a Security Specialist for the Toronto Maple Leafs, part of MLSE, overseeing safety and security for visiting NHL teams and players since February 2023. Responsibilities include conducting threat assessments, coordinating player movements, and providing close protection during high-stakes events. John H. has also played a crucial role in the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs and the 2024 NHL All-Star Game, ensuring the security of key players and staff. Previous experience includes research at the Art Gallery of Ontario and academic qualifications in public safety administration and criminology from Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Guelph.
