Matthew Black serves as the Director of Culture & Inclusion and previously held multiple roles within the Toronto Argonauts at MLSE, including Director of Performance & Player Relations and Player Relations Advisor, from April 2019 to the present. With a professional athletic career that includes being a three-time Grey Cup Champion and a recipient of the Jake Gaudaur Award, Black was also involved with the Canadian Football League Players Association as a Union Representative from June 2014 to February 2019. Prior experience includes working as a Banking Consultant at Manulife Bank of Canada from August 2011 to June 2013, focusing on the sales of banking solutions. Black holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication/Marketing from Saginaw Valley State University and completed a High School Diploma at Northern Secondary School.
