Sam Bhachu currently serves as the Player Relations and Talent Marketing Strategist for the Toronto Raptors and Toronto FC at MLSE, focusing on athlete engagement and marketing initiatives. In addition to overseeing player calendars and communication for over 45 athletes, Sam collaborates with various teams to align player brands with commercial opportunities. As the General Manager for Brown Ballers, a professional basketball team featuring Indian-origin players, Sam contributes to a historic representation of a major demographic in an annual tournament. As the Founder of Elevation Nation, Sam champions the development of basketball talent within the South Asian community through exposure and growth initiatives. Previous roles include digital marketing specialist and RESP sales advisor at Embark Student Corp., content marketing manager at Tangerine, and a fellowship in basketball operations with the Toronto Raptors. Sam holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University, specializing in marketing.
