Umar Khan

Umar Khan is an experienced culinary professional with a solid background in various prestigious establishments. Currently serving as Chef De Cuisine Catering at MLSE since December 2021, Khan has previously held roles as Kitchen Manager at Service Inspired Restaurants from January 2019 to December 2021 and as Executive Sous Chef/Catering Chef at The Rec Room between July 2017 and January 2019. Other notable positions include Sous Chef at The Distillery Restaurants Corp. and Francobollo Posto Italiano, as well as earlier roles at Harbord House Restaurant, The Granite Club, and Opus Restaurant. Khan's culinary training was completed at George Brown Culinary School, where a degree in Chef's Training and Hospitality Administration/Management was obtained from 2006 to 2008.
