David Smith

David Smith is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in embedded systems and firmware development. Currently serving as a Participant, Application TSC Chair, and Board Member (Alternate) at the Connectivity Standards Alliance since January 2010, David has also held the position of Principal System Architect at MMB Networks since July 2009, focusing on ZigBee firmware solutions and automated QA for various applications. Previous roles include Firmware Developer at WiSuite, Embedded Software Developer at Riga Development, and experience in software engineering at C.O.R.E. Digital Pictures and the Toronto Transit Commission. David holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2008.
