mmcd is the independent creative practice of Michael McDonough - a concept designer and worldbuilder working across film, architecture, and emerging visual media.

The studio focuses on developing original ideas, narrative-driven concepts, and cinematic worlds, helping brands, studios, and collaborators move beyond surface-level visuals into more immersive and meaningful creative territory.

Projects range from early-stage concept development and visual storytelling to high-end 3D and animation, always grounded in idea-first thinking.

Alongside client work, mmcd serves as a creative foundation for original IP and long-form storytelling projects, including those developed under Pokeytummy.
