Ali Raza

Ali Raza is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial governance and compliance across multiple industries. Currently serving as Lead - Finance Governance at MMG Limited since July 2018, Ali oversees financial operations in a global resources company focused on mining and developing base metal projects. Previously, at BP, Ali managed accounting and technical advisory within the Global Business Services department, while at Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), Ali held senior managerial roles focused on global reporting and accounting advisory, contributing significantly to financial analysis and consolidation efforts. Ali began a career in assurance at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where expertise was developed through leading teams on engagements with multinational corporations. Ali holds a CPA from the CPA Australia Program, a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, a Certified Internal Auditor credential from The IIA, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Karachi University.
