Christopher Janz

Christopher Janz is a skilled metallurgist with extensive experience in the mining and metallurgy field, currently serving as a Plant Metallurgist at MMG Limited since November 2022, and previously held the position of Graduate Metallurgist at the same company. Janz's background includes working as an Undergraduate Metallurgist at Glencore Technology and gaining further experience in various metallurgical roles including a Vacation Student at Evolution Mining and an Internship at RPMGlobal. In addition to technical roles, Janz contributed to student leadership as Treasurer, Vice President, and Metallurgy Representative for the Southern Queensland Student Chapter of AusIMM, and served as Academic Officer and Secretary for the UQ Mining and Metallurgy Association. Janz has also been involved in academia as an Academic Tutor at The University of Queensland, focusing on courses related to mineral processing and industrial processes. Janz holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Mathematics in Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering from The University of Queensland, completed in 2022.
