Peter Essy

Peter Essy currently serves as an UG Geologist at MMG Limited since July 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Volunteer Emergency and Response participant at Barrick Porgera Joint Venture since April 2018 and a Geologist at Barrick Niugini from August 2021 to July 2023. Essy has also worked at the Porgera Joint Venture and Barrick Gold Corporation as a Geologist and UG Geologist, respectively, between 2019 and 2019. An Exploration Geologist role was held at Mayur Resources for a brief period in 2015. Essy began professional training as an Industrial Trainee at Morobe Mining Joint Ventures in 2013. Academy credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Papua New Guinea, completed between 2011 and 2014.
