Simon Maip

Simon Maip is a professional with extensive experience in electrical and instrumentation roles, currently available for new opportunities since December 2021. Previous positions include E&I Superintendent at Barrick Kainantu in Papua New Guinea, where supervision and safety management were priorities, and E&I Foreman at Barrick Buzwagi in Tanzania, focusing on training local nationals in safety and technical skills. Since February 2017, Simon has served as a Technical Advisor E&I for Minerals and Metals Group, offering guidance on technical support, safety, and work ethics. Educational qualifications include a Certificate from Mt. Hagen Park High and a Tradesman Certificate in Electrical/Electronics Equipment Installation and Repair from Port Moresby Tech College.
