Ron Frye

Ron Frye has a wealth of professional experience spanning from 1978 to the present. Ron began their career in 1978 as a Commissioned Officer and Helicopter Pilot for the US Army and USAR, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. In 1986, they joined Harris Corporation as a Business Development Manager, responsible for the formulation of pursuit and capture plans of advanced technology programs. In 1995, they were promoted to Vice President of Business Development at Symetrics Industries Incorporated, where they were responsible for defining market areas, formulating business strategies and corporate vision, coordinating and designing advertising and editorial in international publications, generating marketing communications and support materials, leading proposal teams, developing and managing a Business Development, Sales and Marketing organization, and executing capture plans for new business in the Defense Electronics industry. In 2006, they took on the role of Director of Business Development at Mnemonics Incorporated, where they were responsible for defining market areas, formulating business strategies, generating marketing communications and support materials, leading proposal teams, developing and managing a Business Development organization, and executing capture plans for new business in the Defense industry. In 2012, they returned to Symetrics Industries as Senior Director of Electronic Warfare Programs, where they led a multi-discipline team for the pursuit and proposal development for a major EW program which resulted in the award of a multi-year, production program with an estimated value of $25M. In 2013, Ron Frye took on two roles, Director of International Business Development at Digital Barriers plc and Southeast Regional Sales Manager at Cobham Aerospace Communications - Prescott. At Digital Barriers plc, they were responsible for creating supply channels for Digital Barriers' product lines of security products, which include video transmission systems that communicate over narrow-band networks, unattended ground sensors, advanced image processing algorithms and advanced technology Terahertz imaging systems. In 2015, they returned to Mnemonics Inc as Corporate Director of Business Development, responsible for defining market areas, formulating business strategies, generating marketing communications and support materials, leading proposal teams, developing and managing a Business Development organization, and executing capture plans for new business in the Defense industry.

Ron Frye obtained a BS in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point between 1974 and 1978. Ron then went on to earn an MBA in Business Administration from California Coast University between 1997 and 1999. Ron also attended U.S. Army Command and General Staff, but did not receive a degree.
