Bruce Choy

Dr. Bruce Choy is the incoming President and Vice-Chancellor of Kwantlen Polytechnic University, beginning a five-year term in September 2025. They have a robust academic background, serving as a sessional lecturer at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and previously holding positions as a post-doctoral tutor at the University of Sydney. Bruce has extensive experience in governance and finance, having acted as Chair of the Board of Governors at George Brown College and as a Managing Director at the Global Risk Institute. They also contributed significantly to the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, managing balance sheet management and risk policies during a pivotal time in the financial sector. Bruce completed a Doctorate in Engineering at the University of Sydney in 1998.
