Derek Dougherty

Derek Dougherty, CPA, CGA, is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Partner in Specialty Tax at MNP since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Accountant at Stay tuned, Senior Manager in Enterprise Tax at KPMG, and AVP & Branch Manager at Canadian Western Bank, where relationship management and mentorship played key roles. Derek has also held positions as Senior Manager at the Prince George Chamber of Commerce and Manager in Commercial Banking at CIBC. Educational credentials include a B.Comm. in Accounting from the University of Northern British Columbia and certifications from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Certified General Accountants Association.
