Imran Ahmed

Imran Ahmed is an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in data analytics and development. Currently serving as a Manager at MNP since November 2022, Imran has led the creation of a Retrieval-Augmented Generation model and developed a recommendation system for agricultural clients. Previously, Imran held roles at ATS Automation as an AI/ML Developer, where a focus on exploratory data analysis and model development was key, and at the University of Victoria, contributing to computer vision projects under a health research consortium. Additional experience includes developing a patented computer vision model at MatrixSpec Solutions, conducting research at the University of Saskatchewan, and teaching at the Bangladesh University of Business & Technology. Imran holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor's degree from the Islamic University of Technology.
